THE STORY

Through its two global programs, DARE and La Maison des Startups, LVMH Open Innovation sets a breeding ground for ideas & innovation, accelerates & showcases business solutions, engages & develops a wide open innovation community to prepare for the world of tomorrow.

“Disrupt, Act, Risk to be an Entrepreneur”: DARE is the Group’s global intrapreneurship program, open to all talents across all Maisons and geographies.

The DARE platform is live all year long for talents to propose innovative ideas, and for Maisons to explore and eventually use as a base on which to build business solutions.

Talents are selected to join live DARE events, online or physical, where they are provided with startup tools and methodology to accelerate projects and build teams – supported by dedicated Open Innovation members, mentors and facilitators.

In this context and in partnership with Artefact (TAG) we have been working as DARE coaches for the past two years.

In 2022 and 2023, we engaged with Maison focussed initiatives: one based on China and one based in France, covering topics such as climate change, better farming practices and value creation as well as Gen Z engagement. Our two teams were selected for the final in Paris 8 months later.

In 2023 and 2024, for our second year, we moved towards multi Maison initiatives, from France, Japan, and China. We started with an intensive design sprint in Singapore. The teams developed ideas pushing the boundaries of creativity, craftsmanship, and customer experience.

They focussed on employee celebration and building retail culture and it was rewarding to see two of our three teams win the design sprint.

We celebrated their outstanding achievements when they pitched to over 400 leaders across the LVMH group at the LVMH Business of Tomorrow conference!

How far you have all come, striving for excellence in reshaping the luxury landscape and meeting the highest ethical, social and environmental standards.
